Well, i started making wine a few months ago, started with some banana wine, then a few weeks later decided to just stick some cranberry juice in a bottle with some stuff, and now stuck some grapes in a bottle.

Banana Wine

This isn't finished yet. I took 12lb of bananas, 2 cups or raisins, a bag of sugar and abotu 3-4 spoons of wine yeast.
Cut up the banana's, and cup up half the peels, put them in a pan, add a pint or so of water, maybe 2 and simmer for an hour and a half.
I couldnt find another way fo doing this, so i took a CLEAN pillow case, it had been rinsed in boiling water several times, and poured the mix through that, above a bowl. Squished the thing so i got all the juice out, by teh way which is very hot.
Pour the juice into the fermenting bottle, add the sugar, yeast and raisins, and leave for 1 week, stirring daily.
After 1 week, attach a tube thingy, y'ano one of them airlocks with water in for fermenting.
Wait 1 week, siphon mix, trying to not get any of the crap from the bottom, into a clean fermentng jar. Top up with water if necessary.
Wait 1 month. Siphon again, top up with water if necessary.
Rebottle every 3 months until clear. Add more sugar during rebottle for a sweet wine, or not for a dry wine.
Early Stages Yet. Few months in, starting to clear. Several Months. Clearing Well!

Cranberry Wine

I took 1 carton of cranberry juice (litre), 1 cup of sugar, and a spoon of yeast.
Stick it all in a bottle, top up with water, leave to stand 1 day
Add watery tap lid thingy for fermenting
Rebottle after 1 week, wait 2 months
After about an extra 3 weeks, mine tasted no longer like cranberry, and actually like port. Cool!

Grapesies

I did the same for grapes as cranberry wine, except with a bowl of grapes. Mushed them up, stuck in a bottle. Waited several weeks now, Cleared up. Think i'm going to wait a bit longer before tasting!
